Working groups

The following working groups were formed in 2022:

  1. Assessments
  2. Impacts
  3. SPAMIs-MPAs
  4. Governance
  5. Communication
  6. Monk Seal (sub-group of the WG on Communication)
  7. Laws 

The aims of these working groups are to:

  • Examine the situation and study problems and challenges
  • Establish immediate and long-term objectives
  • Explore the general context and the degree of urgency for measure implementation
  • Identify the partners and organizations involved as well as the range of scenarios that may arise
  • Propose concrete measures that meet shared aims and respond to practical management issues for the different scenarios
  • Set out clear recommendations that include a summary of the aims, the forecasted cost, financing, schedule and evaluation criteria
